KEMACH Equipment will no longer be distributing JCB Construction Equipment in South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho and Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) from 1 May 2021. This after competitor Bell Equipment concluded a deal with UK-headquartered JCB to distribute the full range of its construction equipment in South Africa.
Kemach CEO Les Lothian said the group would continue to focus on, and intensify, the development of its prominent brands that include McCloskey International, Kemach Forklifts and Stampede Compaction Equipment.
“Sales of these flagship product lines continue to be robust and is showing positive growth in the Southern African market. Kemach Equipment remains committed to providing products and after-sales service that exceeds customers’ expectations,” he said.
The Kemach Group of companies outside of South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho and Eswatini that distribute JCB Construction Equipment will be unaffected.
