Engine overhaul and service kits launched

Home Manufacturing & Processing Automotive Engine overhaul and service kits launched

CUMMINS New and ReCon Parts has announced the launch of a range of overhaul and service kits.

The kits include key components for specific service events, including overhauls, to ensure that all Cummins engines perform in accordance with factory specifications.

The QSK19 Parts Reference Guide is used to inform customers about overhaul and rebuild-related major components. The guide is aimed as a supplement to both QuickServe Online and parts.cummins.com.

The QSK19 Basic Overhaul Kit (5579318) is applicable to all QSK19 HPI (non-certified and Tier 1) CPLs and MCRS (Tier 2 and 3) CPLs. In addition, the kit is available at a promotional discount price.

Two new MidRange overhaul kits are also available for the ISC and ISL engine families. According to the company, the kit is that it offers a reduction to the overall cost compared to buying all of the parts separately.

Cummins’s MidRange overhaul kits include all of the mandatory parts necessary for a basic overhaul. This gives customers and service providers the flexibility to determine if any additional components need to be replaced or reused during the overhaul.

The ISC8.3 kit and ISL8.9 kit applies to a wide product range. Information for MidRange engines and CPLs can assessed through QuickServe Online, or by contacting a distributor.

The company’s genuine Parts Warranty covers 100% parts and labour, progressive damage, and consumables.
