OCEAN Network Express’ newest vessel made its maiden voyage to Durban’s Container Terminal (DCT) Pier 2, carrying an exchange of import and export containers, including refrigerated citrus containers.
Ocean Network Express’ (ONE) Recommendation vessel is part of the company’s new reduced carbon emission fleet. Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) says that the terminal deployed adequate resources to efficiently service the four-month-old vessel without interruption and within the stipulated window. Earlier this year, DCT Pier 1 successfully handled sister vessels ONE Readiness and ONE Reassurance on their maiden voyages to South Africa.
